Salone del mobile 2012
The exhibition Untouchables Retouched by Dutch Invertuals was succesfull. Mieke Meijer presented the improved version of the Balance lamp including a prototype of a suspension lamp within the same concept.
‘Untouchables Retouched’ is a visual dialogue about re-balancing and re-valuating the beauty of vulnerability. By conducting research and experiments the Invertuals have transposed the theme of vulnerability onto contemporary designs. Balance, delicacy, curiosity and transience were sources of inspiration.
Dutch Invertuals is a collective of individual designers who arealways in search of the limits of their profession. They presentpieces that reflect their contemporary viewpoints in images, objects, materials, insights and stories.

The Dutch Collection
Oriel Myrddin Gallery hosts an important exhibition of contemporary Dutch design curated by Freshwest Design. The curation is particular: its emphasis is creative, questioning, light and holistic. Milan 2010
From April 14-19, Dutch Invertuals presented both new and evolved pieces of work in Milan. The exhibition took place at fashion label Verger, Via Varese 1 Milan. Mieke presented new work entitled Industrial Archeology.

The project 'Paperwood', developed in collaboration with design label Vij5, will be shown in the Klokgebouw, Strijp S.
